We are presently seeking a dedicated, innovative, and results-driven Recreational Therapist to join us in Ottumwa, Iowa, contributing to the expansion of our services and the fulfillment of our mission to enhance lives.

As a Recreational Therapist, your duties will encompass:

• Planning and executing group sessions for diverse populations.
• Organizing and conducting individual sessions.
• Documenting both group and individual sessions.
• Carrying out assessments in Activity/Recreational Therapy.
• Assisting in planning and executing programming for special events beyond regular group hours.
• Managing and procuring materials and supplies for interventions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of hands-on experience providing direct individual or group therapeutic services.
• Certification as a Recreation Therapist.
• At least one year of experience in a psychiatric setting.
