Sr. Structural Engineer

Senior Structural Engineer Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to our engineering projects aimed at expanding, modifying, or constructing new facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates, as well as managing project budgets and schedules. Additionally, you will provide engineering guidance to staff members and ensure compliance with design standards through onsite inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop designs, specifications, and cost estimates for civil/structural projects across various facilities in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
• Provide project and onsite construction management to ensure project requirements are met.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of industrial facility construction practices and technical understanding of structural analysis/design in steel, concrete, and wood.
• Demonstrate proficiency in technical written communication, oral presentations, customer interactions, teamwork collaborations, and leadership.
• Location: Hartsville, SC

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• PE license
• Proficiency in heavy industrial facility construction practices
• Comprehensive understanding of structural analysis/design in steel, concrete, and wood
• Strong skills in technical written communication, oral presentations, customer interactions, teamwork collaborations, and leadership
• Experience in project/construction management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to work in confined spaces and in a dirty, hot, and humid environment (e.g., Paper Mill)
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
