This position falls under our Prepared Foods Division. As a Refrigeration Technician, you'll have the chance to work across various areas of our facility and contribute to company performance by maintaining equipment. Your role is critical in ensuring the safety of our team members through proactive maintenance and problem-solving. Pay is based on experience and is provided weekly. We offer both Day and Night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support under moderate supervision to ensure safe and effective equipment operation.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Conduct emergency repairs as needed and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Interact effectively with plant personnel to achieve plant and individual goals, minimizing equipment downtime.

Requirements:

• Education: 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent education (e.g., possession of an industrial maintenance diploma or current enrollment in technical school).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role, with expertise in refrigeration systems, components, and controls, including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for logging information and utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Special Skills: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs occasionally; stand for up to 12 hours per day on a hard surface; work in confined spaces; and perform repetitive tasks.
