Contract Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position with NARIK CONSULTING, LLC. The Procurement Specialist will report directly to the Procurement Manager and will be responsible for managing the procurement process for various projects and clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of our clients and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices
  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and terms, and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop procurement plans to support project timelines
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supply chain management
  • Provide guidance and support to junior procurement team members and assist with their training and development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a consulting or project-based environment
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (such as CSCP or CPSM) is a plus
  • Experience with ERP software and proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
  •  Fluent in Business English in written and oral form.
  • Demonstrated background(s) in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Individual Contributor Behavior consisting of customer commitment, priority setting, proactiveness, accountability and professional growth.
  • 6-Sigma certification as a Blackbelt or Greenbelt with project and team leadership experience.
  • Understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong Communication and Analytical Skill Sets.
  • Proven Influencing and Interpersonal Skill Sets.
