Position: Buyer

NARIK CONSULTING, LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Buyer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services for our company. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and work to develop new partnerships
• Monitor inventory levels and make purchasing decisions based on demand and budget
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
• Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries
• Analyze data and prepare reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior Small Company Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with procurement software is a plus 
• Experience working with ERP systems, Preferred (Great Plains/Sage)
• Knowledge of contract management and legal terms
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to procurement
