Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Clinical Director of Womens Health for full-time! 

The Clinical Director of Womens Health Services has 24/7 operational responsibility & accountability for standards of care and service within specified clinical areas / units. This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for NGH. While the range of duties and responsibilities is broad and varied, the positions major responsibility is directing the day-to-day operations, budgeting, financial management, and human resource management. The Director works closely with a variety of stakeholders, coordinating the activities of the Womens Health Services across the organization. The Clinical Director is of Womens Health Services is responsible for clinical care delivery, leadership of employees, fiscal stewardship of the department's/unit(s)' resources, and for the creation of a positive clinical and employee work environment. The Clinical Director of Womens Health Services is responsible for the administration and supervision of all nursing personnel and leads the Womens Health Services Division by focusing on safe patient care while effectively managing operations. 

As a Clinical Director, you will:

  • Directs staff and services to ensure the delivery of efficient, quality care. Actively supports the organizations leadership functions and collaborates with other organizational leaders.
  • Effectively manages daily operational clinical operations, personnel, and processes.
  • Ensures availability of resources and utilizes resources effectively through standardization of equipment, inventory management, and implementation of effective staffing based on patient acuity, census, and regulatory requirements. Appropriately plans staffing and scheduling.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors capital and operational budgets. Ensures accurate and timely capture of revenue via overseeing dept charges, maintaining updated charge master and ensuring staff awareness to charging processes.
  • Review unit performance in relation to established goals, implementing changes to effect continual improvement in the services provided.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in health-related field required or completed within 2 years of assuming the position
  • 3-5 years of Directing experience in Womens Services required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
