NATA is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our Melbourne office on a full-time basis. This position is an administrative support role, providing high-level operational and professional assistance to technical teams to support the effective delivery of NATAs accreditation services.
Based in Camberwell, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team, playing a key role in coordinating activities, managing documentation, scheduling, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and professional support to our Sector Managers (SMs) and Deputy Sector Managers (DSMs), and at times, to the Head of Accreditation Services and Technical Manager. You will be an important connection point for internal and external stakeholders, including technical committees and technical assessors, helping to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a range of professional and administrative functions to support operational needs
- Coordinate and organise meetings, including logistics, documentation preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up actions
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to positive and productive working relationships
- Support technical committees and assessors with information, documentation and administrative assistance
- Identify and contribute to opportunities for process improvement
- Assist with other tasks as requested to support the broader Accreditation Services team
About You:
You will be someone who brings initiative, professionalism and a strong customer-service mindset. The ideal candidate will have:
- A qualification in business administration and/or proven experience in a support or administrative role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- The ability to proactively manage your workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Intermediate skills in software applications and databases, with enthusiasm to learn new systems and processes
Salary and Conditions
