About the job Office Coordinator (VIC)
NATA is seeking an experienced and proactive Office Coordinator to join our Melbourne office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of our office and facilities.
As the Office Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, and will take ownership of a variety of administrative, operational, and facilities management tasks. Your organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously will be essential in supporting a productive and professional workplace environment.
Work Class: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations and serve as the primary point of contact for general office enquiries.
- Supervise and coordinate building maintenance and liaise with service providers as required.
- Organise and support meetings and functions, including logistics, room setup, and catering.
- Provide reception coverage when the Receptionist is on lunch or leave, including attending to all calls and greeting visitors as they arrive to the office.
- Manage office supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
- Provide administrative support to internal teams as needed.
About You:
The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and experience:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Basic knowledge of commercial building maintenance (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Salary and Conditions
