Job Overview:
Our client, who specializes in short-term rentals, are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager with strong leadership skills and a solid background in professional cleaning operations, ideally within the hospitality or short-term rental sector. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques and products, along with the ability to effectively manage both coordinators and cleaning staff across multiple properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and support both cleaning coordinators and cleaning staff
- Plan and oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple short-term rental units
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure cleanliness meets brand and hospitality standards
- Train team members on cleaning procedures, use of equipment, and safety protocols
- Manage scheduling, task delegation, and ensure time efficiency across cleaning teams
- Maintain and monitor inventory; order supplies as required
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and guest services teams to address cleaning or room readiness issues
- Enforce full compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
- Monitor team performance, identify training needs, and provide coaching to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within cleaning services or hospitality
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and techniques
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites/teams efficiently
- Fluent in English; Arabic language is a plus
