Job Overview:

Our client, who specializes in short-term rentals, are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager with strong leadership skills and a solid background in professional cleaning operations, ideally within the hospitality or short-term rental sector. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques and products, along with the ability to effectively manage both coordinators and cleaning staff across multiple properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and support both cleaning coordinators and cleaning staff
  • Plan and oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple short-term rental units
  • Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure cleanliness meets brand and hospitality standards
  • Train team members on cleaning procedures, use of equipment, and safety protocols
  • Manage scheduling, task delegation, and ensure time efficiency across cleaning teams
  • Maintain and monitor inventory; order supplies as required
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and guest services teams to address cleaning or room readiness issues
  • Enforce full compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
  • Monitor team performance, identify training needs, and provide coaching to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within cleaning services or hospitality
  • Excellent knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and techniques
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites/teams efficiently
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language is a plus
