About the job Financial Analyst
Our client is a well-known reputed Group of companies. They specialize in providing services across verticals such as technology, automobile, and FMCG.
They are looking for a Financial Analyst who will be part of the corporate finance department and will be directly reporting to the Finance Manager for the Dubai location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis / Forecasting and Budgeting:
- Assist in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance against key metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather data for budgeting and forecasting.
- Support the creation of financial models for long-term planning.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Consolidate financial statements and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to drive strategic initiatives.
- Develop financial models for forecasting, trend analysis, and scenario planning.
- Treasury:
- Monitor daily cash positions and forecast cash needs.
- Execute cash management activities including funding transfers and liquidity management.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Evaluate banking services and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Monitor debt covenants and ensure compliance.
- Provide insights into cash flow trends and potential risks to senior management.
- Ad Hoc Analysis:
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as requested by management.
- Address specific financial inquiries and provide timely, accurate information.
- Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA.
- 8-10 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Experience in dealing with UAE banks is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. (Experience with Power BI is a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
