Our client is a vegetable bulk commodity trader and sea vessel logistics operator and owner. We procure our commodities (corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, etc..) from world-wide origins such as Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cash Management Specialist to oversee and manage the integrity of the companys cash position and related transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate recording, reconciliation, and monitoring of all company and intercompany fund flows, supporting the Treasury function, and ensuring compliance with internal and external financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of daily cash and bank balances.
  • Monitor, record, and reconcile intercompany/intra-company loan and fund transfers, including shareholder-related transactions.
  • Maintain documentation for intercompany loans and shareholder accounts.
  • Handle cash collections from offsite premises and disbursements to suppliers, brokers, and shareholders.
  • Prepare and execute payment batches for office, group company, and shareholder-related expenses.
  • Liaise with the compliance team and relevant authorities as needed.
  • Analyze and report financial variances to stakeholders including shareholders, banks, auditors, and local authorities.
  • Manage the petty cash fund effectively.
  • Coordinate with ATS on incoming and outgoing group transactions.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as directed by shareholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Technical accounting degree; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial and treasury operations; experience in commodity trading or freight accounting is an advantage (training provided if not).
  • Proficiency in Excel (knowledge of VB programming/macros is a plus).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Navision, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Customer service orientation with strong coordination and teamwork capabilities.
  • Flexible and proactive, with a broad understanding of business processes.
