Hiring: ServiceNow Technical Consultant (Platform & Integrations)

I am currently partnering with a Global Tier-1 Tech & Cloud Provider to hire a ServiceNow Technical Consultant for their internal Center of Excellence (CoE) Platform Team. This is a long-term, full-time contract role focused on enterprise-scale architecture, complex integrations, and platform governance.

Job Details:

• Role: Technical Consultant – Integrations & Platform
• Location: Onsite/Hybrid in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon, or Gandhinagar, India
• Contract Length: ASAP – March 31, 2027 (1960 total hours / 40 hrs per week)

About the Role: You will serve as a core technical expert within the CoE, ensuring that all development, integration engineering, and platform governance activities adhere to strict enterprise-scale architecture, security, and OOB (out-of-the-box) sustainability standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Application & Platform Development: Design and build scoped/custom applications using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Glide APIs (GlideRecord, GlideAggregate, GlideAjax).
• Integration Engineering: Architect secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant integrations utilizing Scripted REST APIs (inbound/outbound), IntegrationHub spokes, and OOB APIs (Table, Import, SCIM). Implement OAuth/token-based authentication and retry logic.
• Workflow Automation: Develop robust automations using Flow Designer, Subflows, Action Designer, Events, and Notifications. Focus on asynchronous and event-driven patterns over point-to-point implementations.
• Module Expertise: Provide functional and technical support across CSM, LSD, and WSD, including migration of functionality and establishing reusable process patterns.
• UI & Analytics: Configure user interfaces with UI Builder and Configurable Workspaces. Manage dashboards and reporting using Performance Analytics (PA).
• Governance & Security: Configure ACLs, roles, and data policies. Manage code migration, GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) integrations, and Update Set/Application Repository deployment.

What We Are Looking For:

• Active Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) are strictly required. Relevant Implementation Specialist (CIS) credentials are a major plus.
• Enterprise Mindset: A strong commitment to modular, upgrade-safe design, reducing technical debt, and prioritizing OOB configurations first.
• Location: Must be based in India and able to work onsite at a contractor office in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon, or Gandhinagar.
