Position: Simulation Engineer

Location: Kusterdingen, Germany

Tasks:

• "Further develop and implement simulation methods for complex problems in the field of mechanical integrity and thermal simulation;
• Design and development of complex simulation models for the Bosch eBike Drive Unit, with a focus on mechanical integrity and thermal performance;
• Conducting complex thermal simulations in close coordination and collaboration with mechanical development and sensor development teams, as well as validation, evaluation, interpretation and plausibility checking of the simulation results;
• Developing optimisation proposals and presenting and discussing them within the project team;
• Validate, calibrate and optimise simulation models based on measurements;"

Requirements:

• "A degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable subject;
• Excellent knowledge of numerical simulation methods, strength of materials and the theory of heat transfer;
• Excellent knowledge of FEM and CFD;
• Excellent knowledge of the Abaqus and FloEFD software;
• Good written and spoken English;
• Knowledge of German;
