Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a 12 person
multidisciplinary team delivering network security and IT infrastructure services in a high-availability on-premises data center. The role ensures the design, provisioning, operation, maintenance, and compliance-driven documentation of critical IT services, all implemented according to a DevSecOps approach with a strong focus on automation and security.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Planning
- Define project scope, milestones, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate schedules and allocate resources to meet high-availability and security requirements.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of 12 engineers and specialists in network security and IT infrastructure.
- Promote a DevSecOps culture emphasizing automation, continuous integration, and shared responsibility for security.
Service Design & Operations
- Oversee the conception, provisioning, and operation of IT services across segmented network environments.
- Ensure a high degree of automation to guarantee continuous service availability.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain detailed, audit-ready documentation to meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Coordinate internal and external security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary interface with senior management and external partners, providing clear progress reports, risk analyses, and improvement plans.

- Core Services: NTP, DNS, DHCP, PKI, IPv4/IPv6
- Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Icinga2, Checkmk, ELK Stack, Grafana
- Vulnerability Scanners: OpenVAS, OWASP tools, Greenbone
- Routing: Quagga
- DCIM & IPAM: NetBox
Desirable Expertise
- SIEM: Splunk, QRadar, ElasticSearch-SIEM
- Identity & Access Management: Red Hat IDM, FreeIPA
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in network security, IT infrastructure, or data center environments.
- Proven track record with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL or equivalent service management frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
