Tasks:

• Create concepts for systems and subsystems
• Provide technical leadership during bid preparation and system development
• Perform requirements analysis and manage requirements lifecycle
• Develop technical specifications
• Lead system integration activities and perform fault analysis
• Plan and execute system testing
• Prepare quantity structures, schedules, and timelines
• Deliver technical bid presentations at customer sites
• Negotiate technical scope with customers, partners, and suppliers
• Provide technical leadership to the development team
• Define, plan, and control work packages (target vs. actual)
• Coordinate and produce key system documentation
• Conduct technical reviews and audits
• Manage technical risks and support claim management activities
• Represent the project internally and externally
• Monitor project progress and cash flow from a technical perspective
• Prepare technical decision papers (including make-or-buy analysis)
• Develop test concepts and related documentation
• Plan and execute internal and external approvals
• Plan and coordinate system qualification with external authorities (e.g., environmental, EMC, functional safety)
• Manage suppliers and subcontractors
• Report and present development results in project status meetings

Requirements:

• Completed technical degree
• Several years of professional experience in a technical department
• Experience in the technical management of projects
• High level of intercultural competence
• Business fluent English and German skills 
• Willingness to travel worldwide
