Position: Technical Architect- Linux infrastructure

Tasks:
- Technical and procedural support and conception of technical solutions
- Identification, support, quantitative and qualitative assurance of all BSI GS modules to be considered in the implementation and their interfaces of technical solutions
- Quantitative and qualitative assurance of the guidelines specified by the client in the technical implementation and their interfaces of technical solutions
- Professional and technical support and elaboration within the framework of the implementation of EA requirements of the program management,chapter lead, PO, and users
- Regular exchange with stakeholders on strategic directions and related issues
- Accountable for the technical achievement of the respective work packages (DoD), sprint goals, and releases
- Accountable for the technical achievement of the implementation and verifiability of quantitative and qualitative deployments
- Accountable for the technical assurance of the implementation and verifiability of quantitative and qualitative deployments of IT services (e.g., test and deployment protocols).
- Accountable for the technical assurance, maintenance,restoration of availability, usability, and operation of the assigned productive and IT services to be developed
- Responsibility for the technical identification, development, implementation, and utilization of automation potential
- Accountable for the design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and continuous assurance of the connection to the event management (monitoring, logging, alerting) of the respective IT services and applications
- Responsibility for the technical, qualitative, and quantitative compliance of ITSM processes and their KPIs of IT services - Support for the PO in the creation, maintenance, and delivery of reports, risk assessments, blockers, and decision templates
- Accountable for the creation, provision, and maintenance of architectural representations
- Accountable for compliance with and creation of specified documentation and its procedural quality processes
- Accountable for the creation, maintenance, and delivery of reports, risk assessments, blockers, and decision templates
Requirements:
- Independently structure, design, and manage strategic tasks - Knowledge of IT network infrastructure (technologies, protocols, IT network plans, diagrams, enterprise networks)
- Knowledge of IT service management (strategy, portfolio, design, transition, operation, support)
- C1 level German and English language skills
- Knowledge of IT governance/strategy (IT organization, target operation model, risk management, IT governance, IT audit, reporting)
- Knowledge of IT security (e.g., cyber security frameworks, cryptographic procedures, Identity and Access Management, Security Network Design, Vulnerability Assessments, SE Linux)
- Knowledge of IT system architectures (directory and basic services, platform management, server administration, backup and disaster recovery, emergency plans, workplace management, device management, software distribution, cloud-based
- Knowledge and, ideally, certification in ITSM frameworks, e.g. ITIL v3 or v4
- Knowledge and, ideally, certification in strategy frameworks, e.g.COBIT
- Knowledge and ideally certification in requirements management frameworks such as: SRE, IREB
- Knowledge and ideally certification in test management frameworks such as: ISTQB
- At least 3 years of experience as an architect in the Linux enterprise environment
- At least 5 years of experience in the design, implementation, and operation of Linux distributions in an enterprise environment (such ase.g.: RedHat, Debian), with a focus on the following topics:
- At least 3 years of experience in cluster virtualization environments
- At least 2 years of experience in cluster containerization environments with a focus on Kubernetes or OpenShift in the enterprise environment
- At least 2 years of experience in central patch management
