Developer System Cabling (m/f/d)

Position: Developer System Cabling

Location: Bremen, Germany

Tasks:

• Requirements- and production-oriented electronic development of system cabling using suitable tools by:
• Procuring the overarching requirements and developing the specific requirements for the system cabling for which you are responsible
• Developing solution principles for implementing the requirements, taking into account the reuse of existing components
• Preparing the cost estimate for the cabling for which you are responsible with regard to development and production
• Creation of concepts for system cabling in line with requirements
• Design and layout of the system cabling for which you are responsible in line with requirements and manufacturing specifications using the Zuken E³ electrical engineering development tools
• Design and selection of suitable standard and purchased parts for the system cabling for which you are responsible
• Coordination of the system cabling interfaces with internal specialist departments
• Regular communication, coordination, and cooperation with related departments, projects, and external service providers
• Creation of standard-compliant product specifications (development and manufacturing) and associated product data processing in the PDM system
• Execution of integration and commissioning activities for the first product
• Support with inspections and tests during development (engineering tests)
• Carrying out series production preparation for the system cabling for which you are responsible, including preparatory work for testing and series production start-up
• Supporting the technical management of (domestic/foreign) subcontractors

Requirements:

• Completed bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Several years of relevant professional experience
• Very good knowledge of electrical development, including signal and data transmission, power supply
• Several years of professional experience working with electrical engineering development tools CAE (Zucken E³)
• Good knowledge of military norms and standards, primarily EMC and power supplies for land vehicles and ships
• Very good knowledge of SAP PLM
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Good written and spoken English and German skills
• Time- and cost-oriented approach to work
• Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration
• High level of organizational skills, even under pressure
• Structured, goal-oriented, and independent approach to work with a confident manner
• High level of commitment and initiative
• Willingness to travel worldwide
