Position Overview

The Associate IT Expert supports order management activities within a hardware supply chain and logistics environment. The role focuses on coordinating, processing, and tracking orders across the full operational logistics chain for IT-related components, while ensuring accurate documentation, smooth communication, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, process, and track orders related to IT components.
• Plan and manage incoming orders on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Coordinate and execute logistical activities throughout the full operational supply chain.
• Maintain and archive order-related data for rollout, rollback, and relocation business processes.
• Prepare operational reports on order volumes and order processing status.
• Identify and suggest continuous improvement measures in order management, tools, and procedures.
• Communicate by phone with internal process participants and external logistics partners.
• Support inventory activities and help resolve inventory-related issues.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial or technical vocational training.
• Initial professional experience in a logistics environment combined with business-related tasks.
• Knowledge of a goods management or warehouse management system, such as SAP MM or SAP SD.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at B1 level.

Professional Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a logistics environment and related business tasks, including demand planning, procurement activities, and order creation in the system.
• At least 1 year of experience in order processing and coordination of logistical workflows.
• At least 1 year of experience in problem management related to logistics processes, including communication with customers and logistics partners, complaint handling, and plausibility checks.
