Position: HR Manager

Location: Bremen, Germany

Tasks:

  • Strategy-oriented consulting and support in all personnel-related issues and aspects of labor law
  • Design and coordination of process- and results-oriented HR strategies and coordination of implementation, rollout, and training concepts for the location
  • Design and negotiation of works agreements in coordination with the HR line organization
  • Technical management and task control of HR specialists
  • Implementation of organizational changes and restructuring on the personnel side in cooperation with employee representatives
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, operational, and individual contractual provisions
  • Conducting personnel selection interviews for specialists and managers
  • Implementing measures in the area of compensation and benefits
  • Implementation of personnel law measures and representation of the employer in court proceedings
  • Design and implementation of HR projects in coordination with the HR Manager, Level 2
  • Preparation and implementation of negotiations with the works council on works agreements

Requirements:

  • Completed degree with a focus on human resources, organization, or labor law, or comparable qualification
  • Relevant experience as an HR manager/HR officer
  • Extensive knowledge of the Works Constitution Act as well as labor and social security law
  • Very good written and spoken English and German skills
  • Good user knowledge of SAP/R3 (HR)
  • Experience in negotiating works agreements
  • High affinity for software and confident use of MS Office, especially
  • PowerPoint and Excel, with a corresponding understanding of data preparation options (e.g., Pivot)
  • Experience in creating and implementing HR concepts
  • Open-mindedness and ability to work in a team
  • Strong affinity for numbers
  • Assertiveness
  • Effective communication and results-oriented collaboration
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in the responsible management of projects/teams
  • Good knowledge of SAP applications
  • High level of intercultural competence and willingness to work in an international environment
  • Ideally, project management certification level C according to GPM standard or willingness to obtain and maintain certification
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, MS Project, MS Visio

  • Business fluent English (spoken and written), additional foreign language (Spanish, French) desirable
