Position: Security Testing Specialist/ Penetration Testing Specialist

Location: Garching, Gar, Germany

Field: Automotive

Type: Full-time/40% Remote

Tasks:

• "Carrying out systematic penetration tests, primarily in the automotive and IoT sectors;
• Independently designing and executing attacks on the target system, with attack vectors including communication, software and hardware;
• Analysing, interpreting and documenting the results, as well as developing proposed solutions in collaboration with clients;
• Creating tools for test automation and to improve the reproducibility of attacks already carried out;
• Supporting the development of attacks, methods and tools across the entire field of security testing (including functional security testing, vulnerability scanning and fuzzing);"
  

Requirements:

• "A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT Security or a related subject;
• In-depth knowledge of penetration testing (software and hardware) or relevant interfaces (USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile communications), as well as experience in using standard tools;
• Specialist knowledge would be an advantage in: IT security and cryptography, programming in C and Python and possibly other languages (e.g. Assembler, Java), automotive electronics and bus systems, penetration testing of back-end systems (servers, networks);
• Enjoy working with software and hardware (tinkerer's mindset);
• Creativity and curiosity about new and varied technologies;
• A customer-focused, independent approach to work;
• Very good written and spoken English and good written and spoken German;"
