Role Overview

In this role you will be responsible for the continuous development, integration, testing, and maintenance of existing software solutions within the relevant domain. You will ensure alignment with service design and service transition requirements and collaborate with delivery units on technical and functional concepts. The position covers full-stack design, development, architecture decisions, and lifecycle management of complex applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-stack design, planning, and implementation of customer requirements in architecture, design, source code, and system integration within existing projects.
• Design of application architecture and iterative validation of designs.
• Oversee deployment phases as well as provide maintenance and support.
• Maintain and further develop the application architecture and related documentation.
• Provide technical consulting, influence, and guidance across the entire software lifecycle.
• Represent and coordinate complex topics in cross-functional working groups.
• Identify and communicate key project decisions (e.g., technology or database platform changes).
• Propose and present solutions to system performance issues.
• Support agile teams and contribute to backlog prioritization and sprint planning.
• Gather and consolidate requirements from customers and stakeholders, prioritize them by risk and business value, and define delivery scope and timelines.
• Continuously ensure prepared information, documentation, and feedback for all project phases.

Qualifications

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent; or IT specialist training in application development.

Languages: German C1, English B1 (CEFR).

Professional Experience:

• At least 8 years of experience in web-based frontend and backend development using Vue.js, REST APIs, and object-oriented PHP frameworks (e.g., Zend/Laminas).
• At least 3 years of experience with Doctrine, Node.js (TypeScript), MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis (MongoDB and Docker/Podman are a plus).
• At least 5 years of experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 3 years of experience in agile software development with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
