Job Objectives:

• Management of the development of complex SW applications
  Cross-project planning and control of resources in the area of software

Job Responsibilities:

General:
-Completing cost center annual planning and personnel planning.
-Collaborate on non-personnel cost and capital expenditure planning
-Manage funds for external support from companies, freelancers
-Personnel management of internal and external employees
-Project-based definition of responsibilities, roles and tasks
-Support of internal/external customers

Software
-Responsible for the development of SW systems
-Responsibility for the development of a strategy for SW development and corresponding management of implementation
-Collaboration in the further development of SW systems
-Specialized analysis and assessment of customer requirements (RFI, RFQ)
-Support in the creation of test concepts
-Definition and coordination of tasks within SW development
-Supporting the creation of relevant documentation

Representation
-Represent the software team to external and internal functions such as customers, suppliers as agreed with Director DVS.

Competencies of the position

-Continuous reporting to the Director DVS
-Lead the Software team including external personnel to support these responsibilities.


Job responsibility

-Complete collection and implementation of all software relevant requirements as well as the execution on schedule
-Responsibility for the development of software
-Maintenance and documentation

Education:
Dipl.-Ing. in electrical engineering or Diplominformatiker in technical computer science

Knowledge:

-Relevant standards, requirements and customer specific requirements.
-Very good knowledge of software development processes according to Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262
-Experience in embedded systems and C/C++
-Communication and motivation skills
-Personnel management
-Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken

Experience:

3 - 5 years of experience in complex vehicle systems development, handling and meeting customer requirements, and project management skills.
2 - 3 years of experience in SW projects
