Position: Production Process Supervisor

Location: Reutlingen, Germany

Field: Automotive

Type: 35 hours a week.

Tasks:

• Optimization of semiconductor processes for MEMS and power semiconductors;
• Improving individual processes in the area of Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) in development with a focus on implementing new requirements and improving process quality and yield;
• Contribute to the testing, development and introduction of new manufacturing processes and equipment;
• Collaboration in the design, coordination and evaluation of trials in cooperation with internal and external bodies;
• Developing measures for process flexibilization and cost reduction as well as planning and supporting their introduction in the production area;
• Carrying out economic feasibility studies and cost comparisons for new processes, technologies and systems under the framework conditions of technical realization and future requirements;
• Advising specialist departments and supporting the procurement of systems from specification to commissioning and acceptance;
• Addressing and pursuing optimizations together with plant manufacturers and creating internal documentation and process instructions;

Requirements:

• Completed university degree (Master's/Diploma/PhD) in chemistry, materials science, process engineering, physics or a comparable course of study;
• Professional experience in the field of semiconductor processes or MEMS (doctorate is considered equivalent);
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the field of semiconductor technology and systems engineering;
• Experience in statistical process control (SPC), data analysis and data evaluation;
• Experience in the development or production of CVD and ALD individual processes in the semiconductor or MEMS environment;
• Technical and practical experience with surface coating, thin films and their characterization;
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
