Position: Senior Project Manager Quality Management

Location: Bonn, Meckenheim Germany

• Remote work: minimum 50%

Role Overview:

As a Senior Project Manager for Quality Management, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance processes within a military IT project environment. You will coordinate with project management and the customer to ensure compliance with quality standards and continuously improve project processes through internal audits and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies within the project
• Derive quality requirements and create specification documents
• Define test scenarios and support creation of test cases
• Develop, maintain, and align a quality manual and test plan with project leadership and customer
• Plan and execute quality checks and internal audits
• Maintain and track a continuous improvement (CIP/KVP) plan
• Perform quality assurance analyses and assess outcomes
• Report project-specific quality status to project management and customer
• Escalate critical quality issues
• Support pre- and post-audit tasks and lead internal audits

Required Qualifications:

Education & Training:

• University degree in business administration, technical studies, or IT or a recognized vocational IT qualification with 10+ years of relevant experience

Certifications:

• Certification in Quality Management (ISO 9000 series) or 3+ years of work experience as a Quality Manager or Quality Representative 
• Valid ITIL Foundation certification
• Familiarity with V-Modell XT and V-Modell XT Bund
• German: C1 (advanced fluency)
• English: B1 (intermediate) per CEFR

Language Skills:

• 5+ years experience in project management in an IT environment
• 3+ years experience in developing or implementing quality management concepts
• 1+ year experience applying ISO 9000 standards in project environments    

Professional Experience:

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proven team leadership and conflict resolution abilities
• Professional interpersonal communication
• Clear and effective verbal expression
