Position: Design Engineer (m/f/d) (SAP: Design Engineer)

Tasks:

• Ensuring the cross-functional role of design/documentation creation
• Create construction documents based on 3D data for aircraft documentation
• Review of construction documents, strength certificates, inventory reports, construction deviations, repair instructions, and service bulletins
• Support in the definition of replacement and repair parts
• Supporting the technical managers in the development department
• Support and review/maintain system specifications and system designs
• Coordinate work and decision-making processes within system engineering and development across departments
• Supporting development processes based on requirement-based engineering (V-model)
• Assist department management with acquisition tasks
• Assistance and coordination with sample test officers/specialist departments

Requirements:

• Completed (technical) university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a similar fields
• Completed vocational training in mechanical engineering or aircraft construction
• Knowledge of configuration/change management is an advantage
• Independent and structured working style, high level of commitment, and strong teamwork skills
• Experience with military or civil aviation technology projects, or comparable projects
• Good knowledge of technical/logistical concepts
• Software proficiency in: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Visio, SAP, CAE (CAD systems)
• English skills EPSET Level B / Proficiency Level 4
• German language skills: at least Level C1 or native speaker
