Project Quality Manager (m/f/d)

Tasks:

• Responsible for the specification, establishment and management of quality measures in offers and projects
• Responsible for communication regarding quality-related issues with customers, ZtQ, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Monitoring compliance with all processes in projects
• Independent assessment of project/product status for internal company and departmental reporting
• Responsible for the creation, establishment and maintenance of the quality management plan, the inspection schedule and the document overview
• Responsible for the initiation and preparation of the test and acceptance planning
• Responsible for the planning, preparation and documentation of Quality Gates (QG)
• Responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of Engineering Reviews (ER)
• Monitoring of the implementation of defined measures from the ER and QG
• Responsible for coordinating reviews of project documents as well as their approval
• Participation in the creation of project-related documents (e.g. development plan, test plan, integration and verification plan)
• Participation/implementation of preliminary audits/audits with customers and suppliers
• Co-decision in the selection of suppliers and participation in supplier audits
• Responsible for defining quality criteria for placing orders with suppliers
• Checking and approving orders with regard to quality requirements
• Responsible for coordinating, carrying out and deciding on the approval of first article inspections at and with suppliers
• Responsible for production and series approval at suppliers
• Responsible for the coordination, implementation and decision on production release at RME
• Responsible for the decision to release the product for product testing by the customer
• Examination and release of test certificates, outgoing goods inspections and release for delivery to customers
• Responsible for the complaint and rejection of services in case of non-performance
• Responsible for the preparation of all information for the assessment of product conformity as a decision-making aid for persons authorized to sign
• Responsible for issuing factory certificates and other product certificates
• Co-decision on the toleration of defective purchased parts
• Codecision on the approval of amendments
• Responsible for reporting the results from ER, QG as well as customer acceptance or delivery checks in the departmental ticket tools
• Responsible for the planning and estimation of services of a project quality manager (m/f/d) for future projects within the framework of offers
• Responsibility for assigned project cost units, participation in cost-to-complete
• Collaboration in and moderation of cross-project and cross-departmental quality measures (4D, 8D, kvp)

Requirements:

• Completed technical bachelor's degree or comparable
• Several years of relevant experience in project-related quality management
• Application knowledge of QM and development standards
• Practical experience in the methods of system/hardware/software development
• Practical experience in verification and test methods
• Very good knowledge of test procedure/methods as well as review/audit techniques
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Goal-oriented and independent way of working
• Confident appearance and communication behavior at all levels of the company
• Ability to deal with conflict
• Worldly willingness to travel
