The Security Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring all security-related measures designed to protect personnel, information, facilities, and products. This includes, in particular, physical security, protection of proprietary information, and compliance with regulatory and governmental requirements.

Tasks:

• Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security concepts
• Ensuring the protection of sensitive information
• Ensuring the physical security of sites, facilities, and critical infrastructure
• Conducting risk and threat analyses
• Implementing legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., BMWE, Bundeswehr)
• Preparation for and support during audits
• Monitoring of entry, access, and entry control systems
• Coordination of external security service providers
• Handling and analysis of security incidents and initiation of countermeasures
• Emergency and crisis management (including emergency plans and drills)
• Conducting security training and awareness programs
• Advising specialized departments on security issues
• Promoting a company-wide security culture
• Preparing security reports and documentation
• Maintaining security policies and processes
• Reporting to management and relevant authorities
  

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training in security or a comparable field (business/administrative), ideally with professional experience in corporate security
• Several years of professional experience in the security sector, ideally in the defense, aviation, or security industries
• High sense of responsibility and integrity
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to work
• Discretion in handling confidential information
• Assertiveness and strong communication skills
• Ability to work in sensitive and security-critical environments
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to travel (as needed)
