Tasks:

• Responsibility for handling operational purchasing activities related to order processing with a focus on mechanics
• Supplier support, evaluation, and negotiations, including contract drafting and order processing
• Close cooperation with specialist departments, in particular quality management
• Invoice verification, including account assignment and approval
• Coordination and handling of projects with internal and external partners, support with reporting, e.g., KPIs, supplier evaluation, etc.
• Review of overarching purchasing regulations (e.g., compliance, governance, legal framework)
• Master data maintenance (suppliers, articles, dates)

Requirements:

• Commercial training with a technical background, ideally as a technical business economist (m/f/d) specializing in mechanics
• Relevant professional experience in the procurement of technical products and their processing on national and international procurement markets
• Experience in price negotiations and contract conclusions
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and understanding of drawings
• Strong communication skills, confident manner and negotiating skills, as well as cross-functional thinking and acting
• Very good MS Office and ERP skills (AMS)
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
