Position: Customs Officer (Import/Export Processing) Part-time

Tasks:
Processing customs clearance in the ATLAS system
Submitting all documents to customs
Reviewing and calculating import duties
After payment and release: Organizing the subsequent goods receipt process
Checking for prohibitions and restrictions:
Checking for prohibitions and restrictions based on the commodity code and description
Comparing the item information with the EZT and reviewing the legal texts
Coordinating export controls to determine if export control regulations are applicable
Export processing:
Preparation of export and shipping documents
Handling customs clearance in the ATLAS system
Obtaining and forwarding relevant shipping information
Coordinating shipments, including pickup dates and shipment tracking (third countries)
Reviewing and archiving all export-related documents in accordance with legal requirements
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE
Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
At least 3–5 years of operational and/or strategic experience in customs clearance
Proof of participation in training courses and conferences
Proficiency in Office applications as well as expertise in SAP S4 HANA, GTS, and ATLAS
Ability to document processes and work instructions based on laws, regulations, and guidelines
High integrity, social and intercultural competence
Self-motivated and goal-oriented work style
Technical understanding of the aviation industry
Business-fluent English, both spoken and written
