Project Overview

The project focuses on the technical development, maintenance, and optimization of central web platforms and collaboration systems within a public sector environment.

It includes migration to modern TYPO3 versions (12.4 LTS / 13.4 LTS), operation and enhancement of Nextcloud environments, and the implementation of accessible digital services in line with digital transformation objectives.

Services are primarily delivered remotely, with occasional on-site assignments as required.

Tasks (Responsibilities)

Technical Development

• Develop and configure TYPO3 extensions
• Perform backend development using PHP frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony
• Implement and maintain modern, scalable web applications and digital services

System Optimization & Integration

• Integrate and optimize search technologies (e.g., Solr)
• Configure and fine-tune web analytics tools (e.g., Matomo)
• Ensure high system performance, scalability, and reliability

Platform Support & Administration

• Provide administrative support and continuous improvement for Nextcloud environments
• Manage web platforms, CMS systems, and hosting environments
• Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., BITV 2.0)
• Conduct security updates, patches, and vulnerability mitigation
• Perform testing (functional, integration, system) and maintain technical documentation

Consulting & Project Support

• Advise stakeholders on web architecture and module design
• Support planning and execution of deployment and release processes
• Collaborate in agile development environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Support knowledge transfer and documentation processes

Requirements (Qualifications & Skills)

Certifications (Critical for Scoring)

• Valid TYPO3 certifications such as:
• TYPO3 Certified Consultant (TCCC)
• TYPO3 Certified Integrator (TCCI)
• TYPO3 Certified Developer (TCCD)

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in TYPO3 (v12+)
• Advanced knowledge of PHP 8.x and frameworks (Laravel, Symfony)
• Experience with MySQL / MariaDB
• Hands-on experience with Solr and Nextcloud
• Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Matomo)
• Understanding of web infrastructure, CMS systems, and cloud environments

Methodology & Working Style

• Experience in agile software development (Scrum, Kanban)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured working approach

Compliance & Security

• Knowledge of IT security standards and public sector compliance requirements
• Willingness to undergo security clearance (SÜG 1 or equivalent)

Language & Communication

• German language skills:
• C1 (for consulting roles) or
• minimum B2 (technical roles)
• Good English communication skills

Additional Requirements

• Residence within the project's operational region (required for remote eligibility)
• Flexibility for occasional on-site assignments
• Ability to work in structured, compliance-driven environments
