Position: IT Outsourcing Specialist / IT Service Manager

Type: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to support the outsourcing of an internal IT department. The role involves ensuring a smooth transition, maintaining high availability of IT services, and supporting business-critical applications such as manufacturing execution and traceability systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support for up to 150 office workplaces, including installation, maintenance, and 1st/2nd level ticket support.
  • Manage up to 200 operational technology (OT) clients in production environments, ensuring compliance with security policies and continuous monitoring.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure maintenance, including Windows/Linux servers, virtualization hosts, NAS/SAN appliances, firewalls, switches, WLAN, server rooms, automation systems, and telephony.
  • Ensure timely installation of patches, firmware, and functional updates while performing regular system health checks.
  • Deliver on-site IT support up to two days per week, acting as a primary contact for inquiries and services.
  • Maintain and optimize the MES/traceability software system, ensuring uninterrupted production operation.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve IT-related problems in production, coordinating updates and system integrations.
  • Support integration of new equipment/processes into the MES structure, including documentation and approval.
  • Conduct user trainings for MES/iTAC solutions and related IT systems.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance-compliant documentation of IT services and infrastructure.
  • Act as a central contact for project management, aligning IT needs with organizational objectives, and coordinating between internal stakeholders and external service providers.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cybersecurity, compliance, and service management.
  • Experience with Linux/Windows server environments and virtualization (e.g., VMware, OpenStack).
  • Knowledge of container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Rancher) and automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Familiarity with identity access management (FreeIPA, Keycloak), monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK), and patch management solutions (Red Hat Satellite, Foreman).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in production IT systems.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage projects, coordinate updates, and deliver trainings.

Location
On-site support is required at the data center and production site, with agreed days for presence and remote collaboration where possible.
