Position: ISM Warehouse Assistant

Location: Ismaning, Germany

Field: Defence

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

• Receipt of goods, including a visual inspection of delivered parts to check for completeness and correctness, as well as for external damage
• Incoming inspection of manufactured parts to verify that surface treatment has been carried out and that dimensions are correct
• Storing incoming goods, including the necessary documentation
• Picking goods for assembly
• Preparation of dispatch documents
• Proper and secure packaging of parts, equipment and systems to be dispatched
• Assistance with the annual stock take
• Storing/removing goods and reference materials, including the necessary documentation, from/to SAP – from/to project stock
• Picking goods for assembly/IB or for project requirements in accordance with specified picking lists
• Ensuring the proper handling of dangerous goods, including management of the dangerous goods cabinet
• Recording goods received and creating inspection lots in SAP, largely in accordance with specifications

Requirements:

• Successful completion of school; systematic induction, usually lasting around 6 months
• Basic knowledge of SAP – Access-based database systems
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• Strong technical aptitude
• Ability to cope with physical demands
• Ability to work independently, take personal responsibility and be goal-oriented
• Fluency in German and English
