Job Title:
General Manager / Country Lead FinTech (Panama, Hybrid)

Location:
Hybrid Based in Panama (On-site presence required several days per week)

• Salary:
  $2,500 - $3,500/month base, and full legal benefits (statutory).

About the Opportunity:
Were seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial leader to operate as our General Manager in Panama for a fast-growing fintech company. While this is not a formal CEO role, it will carry CEO-level responsibilities in the local market, with full ownership over operations, business development, team management, and strategic growth. This is a ground-floor opportunity with substantial upside through equity and long-term profit sharing.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the Panama entity

• Build and scale local teams and infrastructure

• Own P&L responsibilities and drive revenue growth

• Represent the company externally with partners, investors, and clients

• Ensure compliance with local regulatory and legal requirements

• Collaborate with the founding team to shape strategic direction

• Champion company culture and lead team development

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in fintech (payments, digital banking, lending, etc.)

• Strong leadership and operational management background

• Fluent in English and Spanish

• Experience scaling startups or business units from the ground up

• Comfortable in a hybrid, hands-on leadership role

• Panama market experience preferred but not required
