Job Title: Senior Data Software Engineer (Big Data Engineer)
Location: Colombia (Remote or Onsite)
Salary Range: 22M 25M COP/month

We are recruiting a Senior Data Software Engineer to join a high-growth video streaming company. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud integration.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement large-scale data processing pipelines

• Work with distributed systems such as PySpark, Spark, Databricks, or Snowflake

• Configure and manage cloud workflows in GCP

• Build and maintain integration between GCP and Snowflake

• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and data teams

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Expert-level proficiency in SQL

• Advanced programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala

• Strong experience with distributed systems (PySpark, Spark, Databricks, or Snowflake)

• Hands-on experience with GCP, including connecting GCP to Snowflake

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with DBT

• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Apache Beam, or Google Dataflow
