Senior Backend Python Developer (LATAM Only)

Location: Remote – Latin America
Start Date: November
Compensation: USD 4,000–5,000/month

We’re looking for a very senior Backend Python Developer based in LATAM, fluent in English, to join our team for an initial capability presentation with a client — and a strong path to a long-term engagement next year.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python (Django, FastAPI, or Flask).

• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and integrations.

• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP to deploy and optimize backend services.

• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practice implementations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend development with Python.

• Strong expertise with Django, FastAPI, or Flask.

• Proven track record in API design, integrations, and system scalability.

• Experience with AWS or GCP.

• Excellent communication skills in English (client-facing role).

• Availability to start in November.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in agile remote teams.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and microservices.
