Salary Range: USD $2,000–$2,500/month base salary + uncapped 10% referral fee on net fees generated from directly originated and closed clients.
Language Requirements: Fluent English and Portuguese (Spanish is a plus).
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager with a strong legal background and proven business development experience to join our client`s growing team. You will play a key role in driving new client acquisition, managing the full sales cycle, and supporting legal and corporate structuring processes. Your work will directly impact revenue growth, client expansion, and the successful delivery of cross-border business services.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, outreach, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing new business opportunities.
- Conduct discovery calls and in-person meetings in English and Portuguese to identify client needs and align solutions with company service offerings.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, pricing structures, and engagement scopes to prospective clients.
- Build, manage, and maintain a qualified sales pipeline while tracking activity, conversions, and forecasts through CRM systems.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client portfolio.
- Draft, review, and finalize engagement letters, service agreements, corporate formation documents, and onboarding documentation.
- Represent the company at networking events, industry seminars, and corporate functions while maintaining strong client relationships and retention efforts.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (required).
- 2–4 years of experience in a client-facing commercial, business development, or legal role.
- Demonstrated success in originating and closing new business opportunities.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and contribute directly to revenue growth.
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in commercially relevant language.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working toward revenue goals in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in business, international commerce, or related disciplines.
- Experience with company formation, corporate structuring, and cross-border business operations.
- Spanish language proficiency.
- Experience working with international clients and multicultural business environments.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and commercial accountability.
- Ability to balance consultative legal discussions with sales and business development activities.
- Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipelines, reporting, and forecasting.
