We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager with experience in outsourced accounting environments to join our growing team. You will play a key role in managing accounting operations for multiple U.S.-based clients, overseeing transactional accounting processes, payroll, reporting, and month-end close activities. Your work will directly impact operational accuracy, financial visibility, and client satisfaction across a diverse portfolio of businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple client accounts simultaneously in an outsourced accounting environment
  • Execute month-end close processes, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
  • Process payroll and support employee onboarding activities through payroll systems
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bill pay, and transactional accounting workflows
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and client workpapers within QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise
  • Prepare and support sales tax filings and ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and deadlines
  • Build and maintain Excel-based financial reports, dashboards, budgeting models, and forecasting tools for clients

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience within an outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, or client-services environment
  • Proven experience managing multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise
  • Fluent English communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with U.S.-based stakeholders
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data analysis, and reporting functions
  • Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable/accounts receivable workflows
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting clients in the Logistics or HVAC industries
  • Familiarity with tools such as Ramp, Bill.com, Gusto, Paylocity, or ADP
  • Experience with U.S. sales tax filings and compliance
  • Background working with founder-led or privately held businesses
  • Experience creating financial dashboards, KPI tracking, and operational reporting
