Job Title: Software Product Manager
Location: Remote – Latin America Preferred
Type of Contract: Full-Time | Remote
Salary Range: $3,750 – $5,000 per month
Language Requirements: English (Professional)

We are seeking a skilled Software Product Manager with hands-on B2B SaaS product ownership experience to join our growing team. You will play a key role in owning one of two core development pods for The Guard, our healthcare compliance SaaS platform, translating product strategy into shipped features in a fast-moving, product-led growth environment. Your work will directly impact how thousands of SMB and mid-market organizations manage healthcare compliance with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own one of two engineering pods as the dedicated Product Manager, accountable for end-to-end execution and delivery.
  • Lead a small execution pod, including two engineers and product content support, with a strong focus on clarity and momentum.
  • Maintain backlog health, sprint readiness, delivery quality, and roadmap execution.
  • Write clear, actionable Jira epics, stories, and acceptance criteria that engineers can execute without ambiguity.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and refinement using a lightweight, pragmatic delivery model.
  • Translate product vision and priorities into fast-moving roadmap plans aligned with SMB customer needs.
  • Shape in-app workflows, guidance, and self-serve experiences that drive adoption and customer confidence.
  • Collaborate daily with the Product Director, Chief Product Officer, Head of UX, and Director of Product Content to review and iterate on feature requirements, prototypes, and PLG concepts.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in product management within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience owning product delivery in a startup or fast-moving product organization.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira, including story writing, acceptance criteria, and backlog management.
  • Scrum certification with practical, execution-focused application.
  • Experience coordinating or leading a small cross-functional pod or delivery team.
  • Comfort building products for SMB customers where simplicity, speed, and clarity matter.
  • Technical fluency with the ability to partner effectively with engineers and understand system constraints.
  • Clear, confident communicator able to operate comfortably with both product leadership and delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a product-led growth (PLG) SaaS environment.
  • Exposure to healthcare, compliance, or other regulated software domains.

This role is a strong fit for product managers who thrive on execution, take full ownership from discovery through delivery, and prefer building and shipping real software over managing heavy process.
