Netsurit is looking for a skilled Tier 2 PP Engineer with strong Microsoft 365 administration experience and advanced PowerShell scripting capability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, improving operational efficiency, supporting Microsoft cloud environments, and using automation to deliver better service outcomes.

The successful candidate will support Microsoft 365 environments, assist with security and compliance-related tasks, troubleshoot technical issues, and create or improve scripts that help automate repetitive tasks across client environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tier 2 PP Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Managing and supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including user administration, permissions, mail flow, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online.

Using PowerShell scripting to automate administrative tasks, generate reports, troubleshoot issues, and improve support efficiency.

Working within the Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Centre to support compliance, retention, audit, DLP, and security-related requirements.

Troubleshooting escalated technical issues from Tier 1 support teams.

Supporting client environments in line with agreed SLAs and service standards.

Documenting solutions, scripts, processes, and technical findings clearly.

Collaborating with internal teams, project teams, and client stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.

Identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation and better use of Microsoft 365 tools.

Required Experience and Skills

Required:

Minimum 3+ years of PowerShell scripting experience.

Strong proficiency in PowerShell, especially for Microsoft 365 administration.

Experience working with the Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Centre.

Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD / Entra ID.

Experience troubleshooting user, mailbox, permission, security, and compliance-related issues.

Ability to write, modify, and troubleshoot scripts independently.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced MSP or client support environment.

Advantageous Skills

Experience in a Managed Services Provider environment.

Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, MS-102, SC-900, AZ-900, or related certifications.

Experience with automation, reporting dashboards, Graph API, Intune, Defender, or endpoint management.

Exposure to ITIL processes, ticketing systems, and SLA-driven support environments.
