Senior Project Manager- Utility Scale Renewable Energy

About the Role

Were working with a rapidly growing renewable energy developer with a strong pipeline of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across North America. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of multiple projects from early-stage development through to commercial operation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the construction and delivery of utility-scale renewable projects, and a solid understanding of working with EPC contractors, utilities, and project stakeholders. This role offers flexibility to work remotely, with occasional travel to project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle including scope, safety, quality, schedule, budget, and stakeholder communication
• Support the EPC selection process, contract execution (incl. exhibits), and contract management throughout construction
• Coordinate and manage site-based teams and external contractors
• Liaise with utilities, engineers, and other third parties to ensure design reviews and interconnection progress
• Oversee project invoicing, financial drawdowns, and reporting
• Manage delivery and QA/QC of owner-supplied equipment including FATs, logistics, and commissioning
• Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance throughout execution
• Facilitate project handover to O&M/Asset Management teams post-COD

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 7+ years of project or construction management experience in the energy sector
• Prior experience with developers, EPCs, or owners engineers strongly preferred
• Able to travel regularly across the United States
• Driving Licence
