Renewable Energy Project Engineer Thermal & Utility-Scale Systems

Location: Madrid, Spain- Hybrid

The Role

• Drive technical development of thermal solar and hybrid renewable energy projects
• Support the configuration and integration of thermal energy storage, solar thermal collectors, and heat exchange systems
• Perform feasibility studies and technical due diligence for large-scale solar and hybrid installations
• Develop technical documentation (specs, reports, risk assessments) for vendor engagement and stakeholder updates
• Liaise with supply chain and subcontractors for procurement, QA/QC, and vendor management
• Contribute to the preparation of client proposals and presentations for energy infrastructure bids
• Represent the company at industry events, technical workshops, and pre-bid meetings

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or equivalent technical field
• 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewables or thermal energy systems
• Strong technical reporting and stakeholder communication skills
• Availability for occasional international travel
