Energy and Utilities Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage the process of obtaining utility connections and diversions (electricity, gas, water, drainage, telecoms)
• Liaise with DNOs, IDNOs, ICPs and other providers to unlock grid access and coordinate connection strategies
• Guide clients through procurement, reinforcement works, and feasibility studies
• Contribute to business development and help build a new client base across the UK
• Deliver high-quality consultancy outputs and manage key project deliverables
• Proactively explore opportunities in the evolving energy and infrastructure space

Requirements 

• Strong background in utility connections and planning for UK construction projects
• Experience in at least one utility (electricity, gas, water, drainage, or telecoms).
• Understanding of the technical and commercial implications of utility infrastructure in the built environment
• Confident liaising with developers, engineering teams, DNOs, and regulators
