IT Business Analyst (Front Office Electronic trading systems)

BNPP CIB is heavily investing on digital experience and tools for clients. Global Market IT FX team is hiring a dedicated Electronic Market/E-Commerce business analyst who will drive the functional specifications of BNPP E-Commerce platform called Cortex for APAC. The role will focus on topics such as local booking, hedging of onshore-offshore currencies in order to support the rollout of Cortex to various segments of clients including Corporates. This is a regional role covering APAC

Main items in workbook:

• Expansion of eCommerce FX platform in new locations or roll out of new products + functionalities.
• Functional specification for APAC business requirements on various topics for FX Cash products (pricing, local booking, hedging, compliance/regulatory requirements, )

Key Responsibilities

- liaise with end users to produce/refine business specifications

- define and produce functional+technical testing plans and participate in user acceptance testing

- liaise with Development, Organization, Business and Operations teams to ensure accurate functional coverage and validate test scenarios

- follow-up with development teams on the implementation and rollout of new features

- manage and escalate risks and issues

- coordinate component releases in different environments

- assist the support team on complex functional issues by acting as level 2 or 3 support if required.

This is a hands-on role which requires a good understanding of Fixed Income area, processes and systems especially on the front to back chain, very strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy when defining business specifications and testing scenarios. The candidate will be directly exposed to Front Office users in APAC region.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should have/be able to demonstrate :

- Very strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as reporting capabilities good understanding of Capital Market deal flow from pricing to booking and risk management on FX Cash

- A business oriented, positive, resilient can do attitude with a clear focus on results and deliveries

- Good level of experience as an IT BA in banking environment

- Creativity, innovation, pro-activity and conviction in terms of finding solutions

- High level of autonomy to interact directly with Front Office business users

- Good communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.

Technical skills:

- SQL

- Excel

Specific Qualifications Required

-Good knowledge of FX Cash products and FX trade life cycle.
