  • Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead daily warehouse operations at our La Porte branch, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate material handling, inventory management, and logistics coordination. This role is critical to ensuring the company’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction across our distribution channels.

  • Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within distribution, logistics, or industrial supply environments.
    • Strong organizational/communication skills, w/ the ability to multitask/prioritize in a dynamic environment.
    • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
    • Proficient on stand-up forklift (2 years of experience)
    • 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Able to communicate in English
    • High school diploma / GED
    • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame retardant work clothes, etc.
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).
  • Preferences to Get Job
    • Associate degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Certifications:
      • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 General Industry certification
      • Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) or Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)

    • Knowledge of insulation or industrial distribution a plus
  • What you do on Job
    • Operations Oversight: Manage all inbound and outbound shipments, including product receiving, inventory put-away, order picking, and shipping.
    • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory accuracy thru cycle counts, audits, & organizational best practices.
    • Leadership & Supervision: Recruit, train, and manage warehouse personnel. Foster a team culture focused on safety, accountability, and performance.
    • Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and SPI safety standards. Maintain records, conduct safety training, and enforce proper use of PPE and equipment.
    • Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process changes that improve throughput, accuracy, and overall productivity.
    • Facility & Equipment Management: Maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and oversee facility upkeep and layout optimization.
    • Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time shipping, and labor efficiency. Report performance to branch and regional leadership.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
