- Job Summary
The Warehouse Lead plays a hands-on leadership role in supporting daily warehouse operations and team performance. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role ensures that all orders are picked, staged, and shipped accurately and on time, while maintaining a safe, organized, and high-performing environment.
- Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
- 2+ years of warehouse or material handling experience in a distribution or industrial supply setting.
- Prior team lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Solid understanding of safety practices, warehouse processes, and basic inventory principles
- Comfortable using handheld scanners, basic computer applications, and WMS/ERP systems
- Proficient on stand-up forklift (2 years of experience)
- 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to communicate in English
- High school diploma / GED
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame retardant work clothes, etc.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).
- Preferences to Get Job
- Associate degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field
- Certifications:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 General Industry certification
- Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) or Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)

- What you do on Job
- Daily Workflow Execution:
- Coordinate team assignments for picking, staging, shipping, and receiving.
- Act as the on-the-floor point of contact to ensure timely execution of work orders and transfers.
- Inventory Support:
- Assist with inventory cycle counts, stock rotation, and proper bin organization.
- Report inventory discrepancies and help troubleshoot root causes.
- Training & Supervision:
- Help train new team members on warehouse procedures, forklift operation, and safety protocols.
- Serve as acting lead in the Warehouse Manager’s absence.
- Safety & Housekeeping:
- Promote and enforce safety procedures (PPE, equipment handling, forklift operation).
- Ensure clean, hazard-free aisles, docks, and storage areas.
- Shipping/Receiving:
- Support or lead the loading/unloading of inbound and outbound freight.
- Verify documentation, label accuracy, and product condition.
- Communication:
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to relay progress, issues, or delays.
- Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve logistical concerns in real-time.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
