    Reports To: Machine Shop & Manufacturing Manager
    Classification: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
    Compensation: $20-25 per hour
    Location: On-Site, Cleveland, TX

  • Job Summary

Accountable for producing high-quality parts using CNC machines, including but not limited to lathes and milling machines. Responsibilities include loading parts, operating machine controls, setting offsets, performing basic program edits, deburring, and inspecting finished components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications

  • Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
    • o Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines in a heavy manufacturing environment.
    • o Intermediate proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including (but not limited to) calipers, inside and outside micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and scales.
    • o Solid understanding of technical drawings and specifications, with the ability to interpret geometric tolerances and dimensions.
    • o Familiarity with tooling and machine accessories, including tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, and inserts.
    • o Ability to follow detailed instructions and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • o General knowledge of plant operations, including equipment, utilities, buildings, and grounds.
    • o Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra, for accurate material fabrication calculations.
    • o 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • o Able to communicate in English
    • o High school diploma / GED
    • o Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame retardant work clothes, etc.
    • o Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).
  • Preferences to Get Job
    • o Certified or experienced in operating forklifts and lifting devices preferred.
    • o CNC Certification and Course Completion preferred
  • What you do on Job
    • o Interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
    • o Measuring and marking dimensions and reference points on materials or workpieces to guide subsequent machining processes.
    • o Identifying equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and making necessary adjustments within machine capabilities to maintain production quality.
    • o Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • o Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
