  • Job Summary

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating manual and CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components in accordance with precise specifications. This role requires experience with machine setup, blueprint interpretation, quality inspection, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

  • Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
    • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience operating manual and CNC press brake equipment.
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy within tight tolerances.
    • Basic math skills, including the ability to perform measurements and calculate tolerances.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Basic computer skills, including CNC programming interface familiarity and data entry.
  • 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Able to communicate in English
  • High school diploma / GED
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame retardant work clothes, etc.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).

  • What you do on Job
    • Set up and operate press brake machines to fabricate metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to determine bending sequence, material types, and dimensions.
    • Select, install, and properly align dies, back gauges, and other press brake components.
    • Perform in-process inspections to verify part conformance using appropriate measuring tools and quality control methods.
    • Maintain equipment through routine checks and minor maintenance, reporting issues as needed.
    • Handle raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
    • Follow all company safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to machine safety standards.
    • Collaborate with other production personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely order completion.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
