    Reports To: HVAC Ventilation Tech Supervisor
    Classification: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
    Compensation: $16-18 per hour
    Location: On-Site, Houston, TX

Our technicians clean, inspect, and maintain components such as fans, belts, motors, bearings, pulleys, and vent hood systems. Services also include installation of hinge kits and high-temperature access doors to ensure long-term performance and accessibility for cleaning and inspections.

  • Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Vent Cleaning Technician to perform professional cleaning and maintenance of air ducts and ventilation systems. This role involves inspecting ductwork, conducting thorough cleanings, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in both residential and commercial settings.

  • Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
    • Valid drivers license and ability to travel as required
    • Proficiency with hand and power tools
    • Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
    • Ability to work at heights and climb ladders (2040 ft.)
    • Strong teamwork and customer service skills
    • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
    • Willingness to accept and apply feedback
    • Compliance with drug and alcohol testing requirements
    • 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Able to communicate in English
    • High school diploma / GED
    • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame-retardant work clothes, etc.
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).
  • Preferences to Get Job
    • TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
    • OSHA 10 Certification
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • What you do on Job
    • Arrive at job sites with appropriate tools, materials, and PPE
    • Inspect air ducts and ventilation systems to assess service needs
    • Load and unload tools and materials as needed
    • Perform selective demolition (e.g., walls or ceilings) to access ductwork
    • Install, repair, or replace air ducts using appropriate tools and equipment
    • Conduct thorough cleanings of ductwork and ventilation components
    • Maintain and inspect fans, belts, motors, and other ventilation parts
    • Identify and resolve airflow obstructions or performance issues
    • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order; report issues promptly
    • Follow all safety protocols and company policies
    • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
