Pre-Sales Architect GIS Specialist

Our client, a leading global consulting firm, is looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Architect with expertise in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) to join their team. This role is ideal for a technical expert who excels at engaging with clients, shaping innovative GIS solutions, and driving new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pre-sales engagements, working closely with clients to understand their GIS and geospatial technology needs.
• Develop and present technical solutions, proof-of-concepts, and proposals that align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design scalable GIS architectures using platforms such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, or open-source GIS tools.
• Provide strategic input on GIS solution roadmaps, cloud integration, and data management.
• Support sales teams in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders, ensuring alignment with technical and commercial goals.
• Conduct demos, workshops, and presentations to showcase GIS capabilities and best practices.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging GIS technologies to enhance solution offerings.

What Were Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Architect, GIS Consultant, or Solution Architect.
• Strong expertise in GIS platforms such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, or open-source alternatives.
• Experience with Digital Twin and LiDAR is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of GIS integration with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in technical pre-sales, solution design, and presentations.
• Understanding of spatial data analytics, geospatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, etc.), and GIS application development.
