Contract Technical Writer | Manufacturing | Ballarat | 3-Month Contract

We're working with a well-established manufacturing business in Ballarat that needs a Technical Writer who knows their way around SOPs, manuals, and all things documentation.

This is a 3-month contract kicking off immediately, and we're looking for someone who can jump in, roll up their sleeves, and get stuck into reviewing and refining technical content. You'll be working closely with engineers, production staff, and quality teams to make sure documentation is not only compliant but genuinely helpful.

Heres what youll be doing:

• Reviewing and editing existing technical documentation making it clearer, sharper, and more user-friendly
• Translating complex manufacturing and engineering processes into clean, readable instructions
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and usability

What were looking for:

• Proven experience writing and editing technical documentation ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• A sharp eye for detail and a flair for simplifying technical content

• Someone comfortable being onsite in Ballarat and working closely with frontline teams
